Nine-time Zambian Super League champions ZESCO United Football Club have commenced a 10-day preseason training camp in Kitwe, as part of preparations for the highly anticipated 2025/26 MTN Super League season and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Ndola-based giants began their preseason programme with a five-day tour of Livingstone last week, where they engaged in a variety of physical and team-building activities. The tour was capped off with a morale-boosting visit to the majestic Victoria Falls, giving players and staff a chance to bond away from the pitch.

The squad arrived in Kitwe on June 22 to step up their training intensity, with a focus on physical fitness, tactical drills, and mental resilience. The camp aims to enhance the squad’s readiness by sharpening individual skills, fostering team chemistry, and addressing areas that require technical improvement.

ZESCO United’s technical bench believes this rigorous approach will position the team as a strong contender in both domestic and continental competitions this season.

The 2025/26 MTN Super League is scheduled to begin on August 16, with ZESCO United keen to reclaim the league title and make a deep run in the CAF Confederation Cup.

As expectations rise, the Ndola giants are determined to use every day of preseason to build a team capable of challenging for honors both at home and across the continent.
