Zambia Expected To Host AFCTA Digital Trade And Services Forum.

Government has announced that Zambia will host the inaugural African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) Digital Trade and Services Forum.

Speaking at a joint media briefing, Minister of Technology and Science, Felix Mutati disclosed that President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to grace the official opening of the forum, which will run from 6th to 10th May 2025.

Mr Mutati further indicated that the inaugural forum is expected to attract over 1000 delegates across the continent, who include Heads of State, Ministers, Industry leaders, academic institutions and Innovators.

“I am pleased to announce that the Republic of Zambia will host the inaugural African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) Digital Trade and Services forum from Tuesday, 6th to Saturday, 10th May 2025 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.”
